How SnackStack was born.
It all started while ordering food. I was at a restaurant waiting for my order and noticed the phone wouldn't stop ringing. Every call brought one of the workers to a halt: they'd drop whatever they were doing to take the order, confirm the address, repeat the menu. Meanwhile, the rest of the team was overwhelmed.
This wasn't a struggling restaurant. Quite the opposite: they were suffering from success. They had so much demand that the phone had become a bottleneck. Lost orders, mistakes when writing things down, customers waiting on hold. Their tools couldn't keep up with their business.
Right there, I offered to build them a website where their customers could place orders without calling. They said yes.
I built something for them. It worked. Phone orders went down, mistakes too, and the team could focus on cooking and serving instead of answering calls.
From there, we've been refining it into something any restaurant can use: their own online sales channel, no middlemen, no abusive commissions, with control where it belongs.
We're not a big startup with millions in funding. We're people who saw a real problem, solved it, and now want more restaurants to benefit from the same solution.
